Magnesium Flint Fire Starter, Burns like a real Matchstick.

Fire Starter is rugged and designed for the outdoors enthusiast and very important part of any emergency kit. 5.5cms circumference body that contains lighter fluid and has magnesium flint Rod built into it that throw some serious sparks. It has a guided built-in striking blade (no need to dull your expensive hunting knife) that maximizes the spark and insures the ignition of any suitable fire starting material.

• Strike and burn like a matchstick, do not bur continously for more than 5 seconds otherwise cotton will burn off.

Usage:

• When you get the brand-new fire starter kit, the rubbing surface on one side of the box was covered by black lacquer; you must get the paint crash off before using.
• Refill the fire starter kit with kerosene or lighter fluid but not full, just only about 80%.
• Twist the matchstick out, and create friction between the matchstick and the rubbing surface from bottom to top. The friction angle is about 45 to 60 degrees.
• It doesn't need special skill to do this, the successful rate to a beginner is about 30%-40%, but after practice, it can reach about 80%, so just be patient and try again.
• If the flames become smaller, that may be: 1) the kerosene is not enough; 2) the cotton-core of the matchstick is too short, you need to pull it out.
• Because the liquid can not be post, so the kerosene is not included in the pack, you must buy it by yourself! If any question, feel free to contact us!
• Please try more times and adjust the hitting degree when you find it hard to start fire.
